Ermegildo Horado was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 15 minutes into the match, Hertha 1969's goal looked a bit too open when Cipriano Pasqual came free, but Rune Jarstein reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. CAI NEUQUEN's Ermegildo Horado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benedikt Bensch in the 17th minute of play. Rune Jarstein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cipriano Pasqual, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Pasqual in the 26th minute of play. Ermegildo Horado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilhelm Nienhaus in the 28th minute of play. In the 28th minute, Zhou Chen Sheng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ermegildo Horado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Elenescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of CAI NEUQUEN booed when Hertha 1969 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Elenescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cipriano Pasqual's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rune Jarstein read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Eriberto Filipo hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Cipriano Pasqual made the kick off in the second half. Rune Jarstein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hertha 1969 played a much better game than CAI NEUQUEN and deserved their victory. The CAI NEUQUEN players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
