Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Bogdan Bambas started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Paulo da Silva got free with Clem Fath in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Zé Paulo da Silva took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Clem Fath to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Cosa nostra Lyon getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Thierry Platon hit a great ball. 21 minutes into the match, Cosa nostra Lyon's goal looked a bit too open when Wilhelm Nienhaus came free, but Clem Fath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Cosa nostra Lyon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Ménet to maneuver through the defense. Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gigel Elenescu in the 25th minute of play. Rune Jarstein showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erwann Patrice in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Erwann Patrice ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Jarstein was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 39th minute Gigel Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clem Fath saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wilhelm Nienhaus scored 2-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clem Fath, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wilhelm Nienhaus stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. But to his dismay, Zé Paulo da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Clem Fath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo da Silva in the 67th minute of the match. Hertha 1969's Rune Jarstein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Davy Patron in the 69th minute of play. 75 minutes into the match, Zé Paulo da Silva notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Cosa nostra Lyon's Clem Fath. Clem Fath was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Clem Fath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Paulo da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
