With an all-out effort, Picanya FC's Braulio Gartxot threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Henric Villaquiran, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Red Devils getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Marcel da Rocha hit a great ball. 12 minutes into the game, Marcel da Rocha cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Naldo Roig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel da Rocha in the 15th minute of play forced Picanya FC's goalkeeper Naldo Roig to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Devils were awarded a corner in the 17th minute after Picanya FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sotos Zervoulakos took the corner. 0-2 became the score in the 18th minute when Marcel da Rocha elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 26 minutes into the match, Marcel da Rocha notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Picanya FC's Naldo Roig. Naldo Roig was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Naldo Roig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel da Rocha in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes Picanya FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sotos Zervoulakos who took care of the corner kick. The supporters of Picanya FC booed when Red Devils was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simone Spano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Braulio Gartxot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henric Villaquiran in the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Red Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Henric Villaquiran came free, but Braulio Gartxot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 played minutes Red Devils got a freekick which was hit by Kazimierz Deyna. Braulio Gartxot acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 48th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Henric Villaquiran.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcel da Rocha stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Red Devils's Braulio Gartxot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaskon Gimeno in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes, Marcel da Rocha made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Picanya FC's Naldo Roig tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Marcel da Rocha notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Picanya FC's Naldo Roig. In the 89thth minute of the game Marcel da Rocha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Picanya FC's Naldo Roig was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcel da Rocha in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Naldo Roig saved Picanya FC from getting behind. The Red Devils players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
