Carlos Santana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Manuel Alves made a huge save. 9 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goal looked a bit too open when William Angelsø came free, but Ronaldo Giovanelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Angelsø in the 9th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the game, Carlos Santana cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Manuel Alves was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Well-Well Waack in the 15th minute of play. Izaltina FAD were awarded a corner in the 16th minute after Galo do Japi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Benito Lain took the corner. After taking down the ball on Izaltina FAD's corner Patrik Gribfeldt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ronaldo Giovanelli quite easily take care of the ball. Ronaldo Giovanelli came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Izaltina FAD's Well-Well Waack. But to his dismay, Well-Well Waack quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 22 minutes into the match, Carlos Santana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Manuel Alves. Izaltina FAD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carlos Santana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. After some careless play in the Izaltina FAD defense, Carlos Santana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Alves. The Izaltina FAD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Alves should have stopped the shot. Ronaldo Giovanelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Angelsø in the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd match minute, Galo do Japi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Renato Saraiva to maneuver through the defense. Cléberson Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Carlos Santana made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 51 minutes, Carlos Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galo do Japi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carlos Santana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galo do Japi's Ronaldo Giovanelli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Galo do Japi from getting a goal against them. Matías Mendes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Ronaldo Giovanelli made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Waack in the 57th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlos Santana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carlos Santana's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manuel Alves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Ronaldo Giovanelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from William Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the match, Izaltina FAD's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Santana came free, but Manuel Alves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Well-Well Waack in the 68th minute of play forced Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Mendes got free with Ronaldo Giovanelli in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Galo do Japi's Cléberson Lara managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Patrik Gribfeldt in the 71 minute of the game. Manuel Alves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Santana in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Carlos Santana made a precise shot to the right of Manuel Alves. Izaltina FAD's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. Izaltina FAD made a substitution. Podador Jorquera replaced Kaido Lilleorg. Manuel Alves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Santana in the 80th minute of the match. Ronaldo Giovanelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Angelsø in the 82nd minute of play. Ronaldo Giovanelli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from William Angelsø went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-2 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Galo do Japi's goalkeeper Ronaldo Giovanelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matías Mendes. William Angelsø received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ronaldo Giovanelli came out and tried to block the shot, but William Angelsø slotted it home off the left post making it 5-3 in the 90th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by André de Senna during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Galo do Japi booed when Izaltina FAD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. André de Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Izaltina FAD's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Galo do Japi had won, even though Izaltina FAD had held more of the ball.
