Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Goicoechea in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anatole Nielispach prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 15 minutes Palestine's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. In the 20thth minute of the game Doğan Neşet who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bumin Onursev came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Palestine fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bumin Onursev couldn't finish the play. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Atlético Atlanta's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Savaşer Ayana was slow to take the kick. During this time Palestine's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Anıl Ege Tayman managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Anatole Nielispach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfonso Goicoechea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Çınar Başkurt took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pankracy Glogowski. Pankracy Glogowski was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Palestine were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Çınar Başkurt made the kick off in the second half. Doğan Neşet hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Anatole Nielispach made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Nevada in the 56th minute of play. With a little luck, Club Atlético Atlanta's Pankracy Glogowski got control of the ball when Çınar Başkurt tried to sneak it across the goal line. Remigio Erramu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Pankracy Glogowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfonso Goicoechea scored 2-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anatole Nielispach, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Anselmo Nevada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savaşer Ayana kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match.
