The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Doriva Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 7 minutes into the game, Fritz Hernström was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denti della Vecchia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ghost Hunters the free kick. The supporters of Ghost Hunters booed when Denti della Vecchia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fritz Hernström didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Denti della Vecchia defense, Doriva Sousa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Pinho. The Denti della Vecchia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Pinho should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when M. Ramdhan Patirajawane got free with Jósef Wandzik in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Doriva Sousa scored 0-2 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fausto Pinho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tadeu Bittencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 18th minute of the match, but Jósef Wandzik made a huge save. In the 20th minute, Doriva Sousa made a precise shot to the right of Fausto Pinho. Denti della Vecchia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Fausto Pinho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Doriva Sousa went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Doriva Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 29 minutes of play, Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fausto Pinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ghost Hunters's Doriva Sousa in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denti della Vecchia's goalie prevented a goal. Ball Pitt hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Denti della Vecchia's goal looked a bit too open when Doriva Sousa came free, but Fausto Pinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Tadeu Bittencourt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Denti della Vecchia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-5. In the 45th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Sousa to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denti della Vecchia's goalkeeper Fausto Pinho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 1-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Fausto Pinho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Doriva Sousa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-7 in the 62 minute of play. Denti della Vecchia's Fausto Pinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doriva Sousa in the 67th minute of play. Fausto Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Doriva Sousa in the 72nd minute. Ghost Hunters's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jan-Åke Melander in the 73rd minute. The corner led Ghost Hunters's Jan-Åke Melander to fire away a dangerous shot which Fausto Pinho despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Doriva Sousa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fausto Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Ghost Hunters made a substitution. Jakob Bogren replaced Doriva Sousa. 89 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's Jakob Bogren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fausto Pinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When M. Ramdhan Patirajawane fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Denti della Vecchia's protests and gave M. Ramdhan Patirajawane a yellow card for diving instead. M. Ramdhan Patirajawane kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. After 93 played minutes Denti della Vecchia got a freekick which was hit by Ball Pitt. The Denti della Vecchia fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ghost Hunters were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
