In the 8th minute Emery Heller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Nițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pirmin Jäggi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Don Cabezon managed to get in a good position for a shot. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Don Cabezon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lionel Paly breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Don Cabezon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Cabezon in the 17th minute of the match. Lionel Paly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Don Cabezon in the 21st minute of play. In the 27th minute Ezio Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Nițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans' excitement grew in the 29th match minute when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Don Cabezon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Philipp Santagapita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Dacian Nițescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Don Cabezon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th minute of the match AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ardy Pakubuwono ran over to the corner to take the kick. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Ardy Pakubuwono was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lionel Paly in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 39 minutes into the match, Don Cabezon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lionel Paly. FC Wil 1900's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Don Cabezon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. A collision led to FC Wil 1900 getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Georges Gladu hit a great ball. Lionel Paly showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Don Cabezon, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 47th minute Téo Rosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Nițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pirmin Jäggi to make the kick off. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cabezon in the 51st minute of play. Dacian Nițescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pirmin Jäggi in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute, Don Cabezon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Téo Rosa in the 60th minute of play forced AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's goalkeeper Dacian Nițescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Cabezon in the 62nd minute of the match. FC Wil 1900's Friedrich Nietzsche was substituted for Curtiz Klein. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Ardy Pakubuwono was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lionel Paly in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Friedrich Nietzsche made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Téo Rosa however managed to control. Lionel Paly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Cabezon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Sadam Panjaitan replaced Ardy Pakubuwono. In the 74th minute of the match FC Wil 1900 got a corner. Result 3-1. 74 minutes into the match. After 76 played minutes AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC got a freekick which was hit by Dadá Oliveira. A sloppy throw-in by Friedrich Nietzsche in the 78th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Wilfredo Martxot. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Podador Raheiro in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's Pirmin Jäggi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Nițescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 83rd minute of the game Friedrich Nietzsche made a throw-in which Emery Heller played forward. When the match clock showed 85 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Podador Raheiro sped through FC Wil 1900's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lionel Paly. In the 94th minute, Podador Raheiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lionel Paly was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC were victorious despite being under pressure from FC Wil 1900 for much of the match.
