Gerardo Kinsen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Keilor Navas having to make a save. After 44 played minutes Proson FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Iigo. Panayot Salabashev was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 44th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oskar Lindqvist to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Oskar Lindqvist's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Carmelo Abajas was relentless in the 51st minute of the game. In the 87th minute Raul Pacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carmelo Abajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Keilor Navas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albertino Bezerra, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The FC Kyustendil players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
