An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Cabezon in the 5th minute of play forced Tiger's goalkeeper Josef Witlatschil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tiger's goalkeeper Josef Witlatschil, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Tiger booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Cabezon didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Pentti Ojala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gaizka Mendieta kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Josef Witlatschil showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Don Cabezon in the 46th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Don Cabezon made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Gaizka Mendieta left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiger fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The supporters of Tiger booed when AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Don Cabezon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Josef Witlatschil made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Don Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the match, Don Cabezon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Josef Witlatschil, 1-1. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Sadam Panjaitan was substituted for Ardy Pakubuwono. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC made a substitution. Podador Raheiro replaced Don Cabezon. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tiger's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sadam Panjaitan was slow to take the kick. Tiger's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Dacian Nițescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marten Weise, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
