An unexpectedly hard shot by João Carlos Porto in the 21st minute of play forced Inter Gala's goalkeeper Eduardo Baiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute João Carlos Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Richard Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Inter Gala fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Mendonça couldn't finish the play. 27 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Rodrigues came free, but Manuel Loren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Manuel Loren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Richard Mendonça. Zacarias Cambranes kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Richard Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Manuel Loren made a huge save. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Godfredo Gau, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Eduardo Baiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Presebal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Godfredo Gau to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heinz Stalder in the 56th minute of play forced Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Manuel Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Carlos Porto, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 65th minute of the match, João Carlos Porto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eduardo Baiano saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Inter Gala's Eduardo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Carlos Porto in the 66th minute of play. Yuri Valadares kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. A collision led to Inter Gala getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Yuri Valadares hit a great ball. Eduardo Baiano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Haroldo Presebal, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Haroldo Presebals short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Eduardo Baiano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute João Carlos Porto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduardo Baiano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maurino Acarreta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Eduardo Baiano made a huge save. After 88 played minutes Volvio Moreno got a freekick which was hit by João Carlos Porto. In the 90th match minute, Volvio Moreno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zacarias Cambranes to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Inter Gala were awarded a corner. Gustavo Salles went to the cornerflag to take it. Eduardo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Gau in the 96th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Souto in the 97th minute of play forced Volvio Moreno's goalkeeper Manuel Loren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
