Vratislav Koželuh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Carlos Augusto Arósio. Zemantauskas FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Ferdi Saksø received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Milan Krása tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Augusto Arósio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cai Qing Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Přemysl Pavka kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Carlos Augusto Arósio. That made the score 0-6 in the 74 minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cai Qing Yuan in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Augusto Arósio saved Zemantauskas FC from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, FC Kopeto's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Reha Pekel came free, but Milan Krása reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 82nd minute, Přemysl Pavka ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Carlos Augusto Arósio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. In the 90th minute of the match, Cai Qing Yuan tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Carlos Augusto Arósio saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zemantauskas FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Vratislav Koželuh was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Kopeto's players had a chance to rest. In the 94th minute, Jean Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zemantauskas FC's Carlos Augusto Arósio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Zemantauskas FC from getting a goal against them. FC Kopeto's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
