After 22 minutes SMOCZANKA MIELEC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Florentino Greatwich who took care of the corner kick. Einar Hedström was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Roch Grondzki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Einar Hedström in the 24th minute of play. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after SMOCZANKA MIELEC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Florentino Greatwich took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Florentino Greatwich got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Roch Grondzki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Onur-Recep Kıvrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Cezary Chrzan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Roberto Lewandowski hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 35 minutes in the game Bernard Cytrynski did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Cezary Chrzan. After 38 played minutes Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ got a freekick which was hit by Einar Hedström. With 44 minutes on the clock, Cyryl Adamowicz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SMOCZANKA MIELEC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 46 minutes, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Roch Grondzki. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Benedykt Lanczak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cezary Chrzans short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Onur-Recep Kıvrak to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benedykt Lanczak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roch Grondzki having to make a save. Roch Grondzki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benedykt Lanczak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. SMOCZANKA MIELEC made a substitution. Andrzej Brataniec replaced Cezary Chrzan. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's attentive Alessio Romagnoli managed to snatch the ball when Roberto Lewandowski made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Benedykt Lanczak blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roch Grondzki having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedykt Lanczak in the 60th minute of play forced SMOCZANKA MIELEC's goalkeeper Roch Grondzki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Benedykt Lanczak who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Roch Grondzki was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 66 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Benedykt Lanczak sped through SMOCZANKA MIELEC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Roch Grondzki. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Yağız Macit was substituted for Anastasio Jurdan. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Deng Jie Wei was substituted for Benedykt Lanczak. When Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Deng Jie Wei in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Deng Jie Wei's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roch Grondzki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. SMOCZANKA MIELEC's Roch Grondzki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deng Jie Wei in the 91st minute of play. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Ahmet Harun Siraceddin got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Jacinto Pinto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jacinto Pinto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Onur-Recep Kıvrak 95 minutes into the match. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
