The corner led GUSESI's Basri Tanyeli to fire away a dangerous shot which Bogdan Stelea despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. GUSESI's Thibaut Courtois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Martínez in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Lautaro Martínez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thibaut Courtois saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cuervo Loco FC's Bogdan Stelea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ovidio Favila in the 17th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, GUSESI's goal looked a bit too open when Huang Kang Zhen came free, but Thibaut Courtois reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute Cuervo Loco FC were awarded a corner. Francis Jamieson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cuervo Loco FC's Francis Jamieson to fire away a dangerous shot which Thibaut Courtois despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Tonete came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Benito Paulin hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Francis Jamieson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Thibaut Courtois made a huge save. The ball had pretty good speed, but Thibaut Courtois firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 83rd minute, Luiz Capixaba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Cuervo Loco FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kent Stenman came free, but Bogdan Stelea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basri Tanyeli's late challenge caught a Cuervo Loco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basri Tanyeli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 90th match minute, GUSESI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basri Tanyeli to maneuver through the defense. The Cuervo Loco FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cuervo Loco FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
