With a left leg Matei Răducu saved MarquinhosEC from getting behind. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by MarquinhosEC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Bogdan Pânzaru was slow to take the kick. During this time demir idmanyurdu's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of MarquinhosEC's goalie and right to Hami Eyüp. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. MarquinhosEC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 44 minutes into the match, MarquinhosEC's goalkeeper Matei Răducu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hami Eyüp. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hami Eyüp got free with Matei Răducu in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alessandro do Valle made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, demir idmanyurdu's goalkeeper Selmo Illescas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alessandro do Valle. For all the effort they put into the match, the MarquinhosEC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
