Constantino Confesor made in the 8th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Bobby Moore immediately put the ball in play. Flavio Cifuentes scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Raul Pueblo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Flavio Cifuentes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Raul Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Pueblo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Constantino Confesor hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. The Taltum FC fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Raul Pueblo came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes. But to his dismay, Flavio Cifuentes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Taltum FC from getting a goal against them. Raul Pueblo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the game, Taltum FC's Flavio Cifuentes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Pueblo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. 36 minutes into the game, Flavio Cifuentes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Raul Pueblo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raul Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Taltum FC were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Camarón Bombay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marcelo Cavenaghi took the corner. Raul Pueblo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Cavenaghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Peep Sabella to strike the kick off in the second half. If Flavio Cifuentes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zhang Hao Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeca de Azevedo in the 65th minute of the match. Taltum FC's Espinosa Marco was substituted for He Sang Jun. In the 68th minute of the game Constantino Confesor made a throw-in which Bobby Moore played forward. The supporters of Taltum FC booed when Camarón Bombay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bobby Moore didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Marcelo Cavenaghi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Raul Pueblo. The goal made the score 0-9. Zhang Hao Qing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeu Sanches in the 79th minute of the match.
