The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Palma came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zhang Hao Qing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Dalmau, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Teobald Jajko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Cifuentes in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Anfilogino Palma came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Cifuentes in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teobald Jajko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an all-out effort, Tottenham Hotspurs's Zhang Hao Qing threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kaur Rännu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zhang Hao Qing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Palma in the 20th minute of play. A throw-in in the 24th minute of the game was made by Attilio Limitone with Victoriano Lia as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Flavio Cifuentes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teobald Jajko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 29th minute of play. With a little luck, Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing got control of the ball when Anfilogino Palma tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 36 minutes, Kaur Rännu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tottenham Hotspurs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kaur Rännu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Taltum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Dabrowski to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Tottenham Hotspurs's Remigio Ticho was substituted for Hermengildo Dalmau. Taltum FC were furious when Mattias Wickander was red carded, 56 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 55 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Taltum FC! Gary Bale shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Norbert Dabrowski charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Dabrowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 59th minute, Norbert Dabrowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anfilogino Palma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Zhang Hao Qing read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Taltum FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Di Le Jun hit a great ball. Taltum FC made a substitution. Obregón Pardemanos replaced Flavio Cifuentes. Tottenham Hotspurs's Eduardo Enol was substituted for Anfilogino Palma. Taltum FC made a substitution. Espinosa Marco replaced He Sang Jun. Tottenham Hotspurs's Eduardo Enol got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Eduardo Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Taltum FC's Zhang Hao Qing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Enol in the 80th minute of play. Andres Tufiño got a throw-in 83 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Obregón Pardemanos. Tottenham Hotspurs's Teobald Jajko proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Tottenham Hotspurs from getting a goal against them. Norbert Dabrowski kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Belmiro da Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 97 minutes into the match, Taltum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Enol came free, but Zhang Hao Qing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Tottenham Hotspurs getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Lu Peng hit a great ball. Marcelo Cavenaghi struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Teobald Jajko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taltum FC.
