Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zigmantas Gimbutas got the match started through his kick off. Rune Söder made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Zigmantas Gimbutas sent off a good shot on target. In the 7th minute Humberto Alcaraz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Humberto Alcaraz in the 7th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Laçın Cumayev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Löv in the 12th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Zigmantas Gimbutas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rune Söder was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 18 minutes into the match, Humberto Alcaraz notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev. Laçın Cumayev was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Benjamin de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Zigmantas Gimbutas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the SC Braga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zigmantas Gimbutas couldn't finish the play. Firma Barnängen's Rune Söder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 37th minute of play. 45 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Löv came free, but Laçın Cumayev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mark Olsson to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Firma Barnängen booed when SC Braga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 50 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jon-Egil Sætre didn't get a good kick on the ball. SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Löv in the 55th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Zigmantas Gimbutas managed to get in a good position for a shot. SC Braga's supporters rose to their feet, but Zigmantas Gimbutas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rune Söder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Söder. Firma Barnängen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zigmantas Gimbutas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Zigmantas Gimbutas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson was substituted for Zigmantas Gimbutas. In the 72nd minute Jonathan Löv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Stig-Åke Mattsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rune Söder. Firma Barnängen's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Stig-Åke Mattsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. With an all-out effort, Firma Barnängen's Laçın Cumayev threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mark Olsson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 81st minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rune Söder was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 83rd minute, Jon-Egil Sætre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Humberto Alcaraz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Stig-Åke Mattsson made a precise shot to the right of Rune Söder. Firma Barnängen's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. In the 93rd minute Jonathan Löv shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laçın Cumayev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rune Söder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SC Braga fully deserved thier win.
