Mikolaj Budzynski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Văduvescu having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Pildesti's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Maziarski came free, but Marian Văduvescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zygmunt Dunajski succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Wit Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zygmunt Dunajski in the 37th minute of the match. A nice corner shot did that Terry Doyle got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Wit Kasperowicz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, FC Steaua Pildesti's Robert Antohi got a free kick in the 40th minute. After 41 played minutes KS LEW Chorzów got a freekick which was hit by Mikolaj Juszkowski. FC Steaua Pildesti's Marian Văduvescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save FC Steaua Pildesti from getting a goal against them. The supporters of KS LEW Chorzów booed when FC Steaua Pildesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nae Griguță didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Wieslaw Maziarski could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Marian Văduvescu however easily saved by the left post. Wit Kasperowicz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Barbu, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th match minute, FC Steaua Pildesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isac Cozmâncă to maneuver through the defense. 69 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Filip Paulescu came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
