Pepino’s's goalkeeper Ferrán Suarez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Norino Zuasnabar made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Equipo's Harun Elçin. 35 minutes into the game, Equipo's Raul Vigil nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferrán Suarez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 41 minutes into the match, Pietro Salles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ferrán Suarez. C.D. Pepino’s's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pietro Salles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. The supporters of Equipo booed when C.D. Pepino’s was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norino Zuasnabar didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 45th match minute, C.D. Pepino’s was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paco Camarasa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Vigil in the 46th minute of play forced C.D. Pepino’s's goalkeeper Ferrán Suarez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Hernánde Arrué couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Darío Benedetto notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of C.D. Pepino’s's Ferrán Suarez. Ferrán Suarez was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th minute, C.D. Pepino’s's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Darío Benedetto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
