Tigre's Stefan Orlicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Tigre from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's Gilbert Lange ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stefan Orlicki. Stefan Orlicki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Tigre's Stefan Orlicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Sundström in the 10th minute of play. Stefan Orlicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl Åhlberg in the 16th minute. In the 19th minute, Sergio Cordareo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jens-Ove Kihlberg was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Jens-Ove Kihlberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gwyn Lawson, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. A collision led to Tigre getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Celedonio Ugaitz hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as André Sundström kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Orlicki. That made the score 2-1 in the 26 minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Stolpskottet Väsby BK's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Cordareo came free, but Jens-Ove Kihlberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st match minute, Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Ugaitz to maneuver through the defense. Jörn Magnusson struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
