Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Dinu Pelin got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Granicerul's Eusebiu Ianculescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ovidiu Caranfil made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Ovidiu Caranfil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eusebiu Ianculescu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. In the 11th minute, Dinu Pelin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ovidiu Caranfil was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Valeriu Zoreanu struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Ovidiu Caranfil didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Granicerul. Ovidiu Caranfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eusebiu Ianculescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Pelin in the 25th minute of play. Club Vertigo's Ovidiu Caranfil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Pelin in the 26th minute of play. When the match clock showed 26 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Dinu Pelin sped through Club Vertigo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ovidiu Caranfil. Ovidiu Caranfil showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Ciocâltea, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Valeriu Zoreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Granicerul's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriu Zoreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ovidiu Caranfil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 34 played minutes Club Vertigo got a freekick which was hit by Marius Rizea. Ovidiu Caranfil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dinu Pelin in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Manole Colin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ovidiu Caranfil. Club Vertigo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Manole Colin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Ovidiu Caranfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Zoreanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the game, Valeriu Zoreanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Ovidiu Caranfil was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ştefan Panțuru to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute of the match, Iordache Ioneasa got a very nice opportunity to score, but Ovidiu Caranfil was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Dinu Pelin could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Ovidiu Caranfil however easily saved by the left post. Ovidiu Caranfil came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Granicerul's Dinu Pelin. But to his dismay, Dinu Pelin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nistor Iftimescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ovidiu Caranfil came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Granicerul's Dinu Pelin. But to his dismay, Dinu Pelin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. 74 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Ianculescu came free, but Ovidiu Caranfil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nechifor Cucerdean's late challenge caught a Granicerul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nechifor Cucerdean helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Club Vertigo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nechifor Cucerdean to maneuver through the defense. In the 78th minute, Granicerul's Dinu Pelin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ovidiu Caranfil. Ovidiu Caranfil yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. Valeriu Zoreanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dinu Pelin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Ovidiu Caranfil made a huge save. Ovidiu Caranfil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manole Colin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marius Rizea kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. When the match was over Granicerul could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Vertigo throughout the match.
