In the 3rd minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Igor Cavalera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the game, Igor Cavalera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ivan Chiuzbaian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alysson Rezende came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang. But to his dismay, Zhao Sen Yang quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. A sloppy throw-in by Patrick Matorin in the 19th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Grigore Maghiran. Alysson Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhao Sen Yang's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Ogro F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olov Ahlbeck took the corner. The corner led Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s İlhami Akyazıcı to fire away a dangerous shot which Alysson Rezende despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Zhao Sen Yang came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alysson Rezende took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhao Sen Yang, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ogro F.C.'s Patrick Matorin got a free kick in the 28th minute. Alysson Rezende made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 29th minute. Zhao Sen Yang struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Alysson Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The wind increased when Igor Cavalera made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Maghiran. Ogro F.C.'s Alysson Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 64 minutes, İlhami Akyazıcı managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s supporters crossed their fingers, but İlhami Akyazıcı was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Mugurel Pandele was substituted for İlhami Akyazıcı. Dan Zimmermann kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Cătălin Tudoran was substituted for Stasio Bienienda. Ogro F.C.'s Mike Mangini was substituted for Dan Zimmermann. In the 68th match minute, Ogro F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dan Zimmermann to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute Zhao Sen Yang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alysson Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 74th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Wielopolski to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Ogro F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Primitivo Grau came free, but Alysson Rezende reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alysson Rezende showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Grau, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerônimo Vergílio in the 82nd minute of play. Igor Cavalera's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Ivan Chiuzbaian skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 94th match minute, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zhao Sen Yang to maneuver through the defense. Ogro F.C. made a substitution. Marco Minnemann replaced Igor Cavalera. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ogro F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-.
