Ivan Chiuzbaian stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Valeriu Zoreanu's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhao Sen Yang in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Vuia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Granicerul's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 9th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Granicerul's Ahmet Arif Polatalp got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remus Vuia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 15 minutes of play, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Remus Vuia was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st minute, Zhao Sen Yang left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Ivan Chiuzbaian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Pelin in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jack Ares in the 24th minute of play forced Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s goalkeeper Ivan Chiuzbaian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Zhao Sen Yang sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remus Vuia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ivan Chiuzbaian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Ares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ivan Chiuzbaian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iordache Ioneasa in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, Zhao Sen Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Remus Vuia was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Remus Vuia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 34th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Granicerul's zone, Zhao Sen Yang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Vuia came out of the goal and Zhao Sen Yang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 43 minutes into the game, Laurențiu Ciocâltea was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Granicerul's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM- the free kick. In the 43rd minute, Laurențiu Ciocâltea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Vuia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 46thth minute of the game Valeriu Zoreanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Ivan Chiuzbaian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Dacian Tilea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zhao Sen Yang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Zhao Sen Yang sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Remus Vuia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhao Sen Yang in the 56th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 59th minute of play forced Granicerul's goalkeeper Remus Vuia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Zhao Sen Yang's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remus Vuia was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Granicerul's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zhao Sen Yang in the 64th minute of play. In the 72nd minute Primitivo Grau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Grau's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Remus Vuia firmly grabbed it by the left post. With a little luck, Granicerul's Remus Vuia got control of the ball when Zhao Sen Yang tried to sneak it across the goal line. Granicerul's Remus Vuia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petre Iftode in the 81st minute of play. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s Cătălin Tudoran was substituted for Stasio Bienienda. In the 85th minute of the match, Zhao Sen Yang tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Remus Vuia saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 87 played minutes Granicerul got a freekick which was hit by Moise Sângeorzan. With a little luck, Granicerul's Remus Vuia got control of the ball when Cătălin Tudoran tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Granicerul getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Costin Vulpe hit a great ball. Phoenix Baia-Mare -MM-'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
