Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Parma Wanderers from getting a goal against them. In the 11th minute of the match Ogro F.C. got a corner. Parma Wanderers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marco Minnemann in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pawel Makarewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the match, Marco Minnemann notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Parma Wanderers's Pawel Makarewicz. Pawel Makarewicz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the Parma Wanderers defense, Mike Mangini kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pawel Makarewicz. The Parma Wanderers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pawel Makarewicz should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle.
