Arnold Szuper was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Franciszek Topolski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. In the 7th minute Balázs Pálinkás shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paredes Soberano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when Leripe Lifestyle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Durvalino Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zsolt Vörös took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 14th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Paredes Soberano. Leripe Lifestyle's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardinho Passos, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bernardinho Passos in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnold Szuper saved Szombathely Squirrels from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Laerte Figueiredo came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But to his dismay, Bernardinho Passos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Balázs Pálinkás was the one to do the kick off. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardinho Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paredes Soberano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Balázs Pálinkás in the 56th minute of the match. Arnold Szuper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Figueiredo in the 62nd minute of play. After 88 minutes, Bernardinho Passos made it 5-0 with a short kick to the right side. Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute, Bernardinho Passos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Leripe Lifestyle fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Franciszek Topolski kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. There was no doubt that Leripe Lifestyle were the better team. Leripe Lifestyle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
