Szombathely Squirrels's Arnold Szuper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido de Medeiros in the 32nd minute of play. A collision led to Szombathely Squirrels getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. János Major hit a great ball. In the 33rd minute, Niceto Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 35th minute, Rodolfo Santos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Balázs Pálinkás was the one to do the kick off. Arnold Szuper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cido de Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexsandro Tróia got free with Arnold Szuper in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Niceto Xacintu took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Arnold Szuper to make any attempt to save it. Arnold Szuper made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Alexsandro Tróia sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Flying Dutch booed when Szombathely Squirrels was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferenc Jászberényi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74thth minute of the game Balázs Pálinkás who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Flying Dutch's Luís Paulo Romero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexsandro Tróia. Luís Paulo Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gusztáv Győrffy in the 78th minute of the match. Arnold Szuper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alexsandro Tróia in the 85th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Cido de Medeiros came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Niceto Xacintu came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Flying Dutch fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niceto Xacintu couldn't finish the play. In the 98th minute, Szombathely Squirrels's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alexsandro Tróia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Flying Dutch's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
