After a defensive mix-up in KFC Cromvelde's zone, Chu Xiang Li stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Louis Van Bever came out of the goal and Chu Xiang Li tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 70 played minutes KFC Cromvelde got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Wauters. With a little luck, Dolar Blue Ψ's David Abad got control of the ball when Mathijs Rokeloos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jean-Louis Van Bever took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remigio Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the KFC Cromvelde defense, Remigio Vigil kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jean-Louis Van Bever. The KFC Cromvelde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jean-Louis Van Bever should have stopped the shot. 91 minutes into the match, KFC Cromvelde's goal looked a bit too open when Remigio Vigil came free, but Jean-Louis Van Bever reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KFC Cromvelde's Andries Vermeiren was substituted for Eugenio Cirulli.
