In the 9th minute Ciccio Bussi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milán Romo-Leroux saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Ingueros in the 10th minute of play forced Montesacro FC's goalkeeper Giacomo Casanova to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 11 minutes into the match, TITANS FC's goalkeeper Milán Romo-Leroux had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Egil Sjögren. A collision led to Montesacro FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Anthony Del Gatto hit a great ball. The Montesacro FC fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Montesacro FC's Egil Sjögren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Montesacro FC's Giacomo Casanova played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Ingueros in the 21st minute of play. Giacomo Casanova made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Ingueros in the 22nd minute of play. William Merino kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Egil Sjögren got free with Milán Romo-Leroux in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Milán Romo-Leroux didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Egil Sjögren went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Ciccio Bussi charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciccio Bussi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 32 played minutes Montesacro FC got a freekick which was hit by Ciccio Bussi. 33 minutes into the match, Montesacro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rubén Ahijado came free, but Giacomo Casanova reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 37 minutes, Fabio Aranguiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TITANS FC and the Montesacro FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Loco Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half.
