Seagulls's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petter Skarkman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Aurelio Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulrik Söderlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Seagulls:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Protegéerna:s goal. After 15 played minutes Seagulls got a freekick which was hit by Ben Rensenbrink. Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Michael Näver in the 15th minute of play. Petter Skarkman struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Aurelio Rexino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Protegéerna. Aurelio Rexino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Petter Skarkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 28 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino. Aurelio Rexino was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jakob Lundin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 34th minute Petter Skarkman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Petter Skarkman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aurelio Rexino. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petter Skarkman in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aurelio Rexino saved Seagulls from getting behind. The Protegéerna fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 45th minute Roderick van Boxel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Seagulls's Abelardo Magallanes got a free kick in the 46th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petter Skarkman made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Petter Skarkman reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aurelio Rexino. The goal made the score 0-7. Petter Skarkman scored 0-8 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Rexino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Best Štriker kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Bolo Skjold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roderick van Boxel in the 67th minute of the match. When Protegéerna's Petter Skarkman in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seagulls's goalie prevented a goal. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nildo Matos in the 78th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goalkeeper Aurelio Rexino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petter Skarkman. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roderick van Boxel in the 86th minute of play. Guido Python scored 0-10 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Rexino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Seagulls getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Abelardo Magallanes hit a great ball. In the 92nd minute, Guido Python made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Rexino. Seagulls's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-11.
