When the match had gone on for 5 minutes, Fre van Eijnde took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aurelio Rexino to make any attempt to save it. Aurelio Rexino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Aurelio Rexino made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Abdi Mehmet Rakim sent off a good shot on target. After 14 minutes Seagulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feijo Fresnos who took care of the corner kick. After 19 minutes of play, The Everett Hawks's Philippe-Arnaud Heremans made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Rexino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aurelio Rexino made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Fre van Eijnde sent off a good shot on target. After 23 minutes Seagulls's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Feijo Fresnos who took care of the corner kick. Feijo Fresnos made a great header on The Everett Hawks's corner, it was just that Seagulls's Aurelio Rexino managed to reach the ball for a save. Aurelio Rexino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philippe-Arnaud Heremans, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, The Everett Hawks's goal looked a bit too open when Roderick van Boxel came free, but Ludo Vanden Bossche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 41st minute, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 43 minutes into the match, Seagulls's goal looked a bit too open when Abdi Mehmet Rakim came free, but Aurelio Rexino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Everett Hawks were awarded a corner in the 45th minute after Seagulls's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Feijo Fresnos took the corner. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abdi Mehmet Rakim was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Seagulls's zone, Philippe-Arnaud Heremans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Rexino came out of the goal and Philippe-Arnaud Heremans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fre van Eijnde hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute Fre van Eijnde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Rexino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans's late challenge caught a Seagulls's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to The Everett Hawks getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Philippe-Arnaud Heremans hit a great ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. The Everett Hawks had played much better football throughout.
