The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Nightmare fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Nightmare's Marco Benitez looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some careless play in the Nightmare defense, Godfredo Nuñez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmund Lenertej. The Nightmare fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmund Lenertej should have stopped the shot. Petras Anusauskas made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Aaron Chevalier sent off a good shot on target. In the 10th match minute, Nightmare was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tang Han to maneuver through the defense. Edmund Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godfredo Nuñez in the 12th minute of play. 15 minutes into the game, C.A.S.D. 1° de mayo's Godfredo Nuñez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 87thth minute of the game Aureliano Negro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nightmare's Edmund Lenertej was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Edmund Lenertej showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aureliano Negro, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
