Through an outstanding action, after 25 minutes, Nicanor Loiola successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The crowd rose to their feet as Tang Yang Le kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nicanor Loiola. That made the score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. Robin Sharma showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Huang Hong Gang, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Dedê Paraibano in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Blue Mountain State's Epigonoi Honjas. Nicanor Loiola was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Karol Panasewicz showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 32 minute of play. In the 35th minute Yao Xiang Xi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Sharma saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robin Sharma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yao Xiang Xi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Karol Panasewicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Robin Sharma made an important save on a dangerous shot by Txomin Astudillo in the 51st minute. In the 53rdth minute of the game Karol Panasewicz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's Nicanor Loiola was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Karol Panasewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nicanor Loiola. C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Panasewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Txomin Astudillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Robin Sharma made a huge save. In the 63rd match minute, Blue Mountain State was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karol Panasewicz to maneuver through the defense. Karol Panasewicz hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After 68 minutes of play, Blue Mountain State's Karol Panasewicz made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nicanor Loiola was left in no man's land by his defense there! Blue Mountain State's Lionel-Andrés Messi was substituted for Karol Panasewicz. Blue Mountain State's George Popescu was substituted for Nicolas De la Cruz. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Vegetti got free with Robin Sharma in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 87 minutes into the match, Lionel-Andrés Messi notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of C. A. Gral. Lamadrid's Nicanor Loiola. Nicanor Loiola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th match minute, C. A. Gral. Lamadrid was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dedê Paraibano to maneuver through the defense. Pablo Vegetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robin Sharma having to interfere. Blue Mountain State's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
