In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th minute of the match Yalapa got a corner. Elderslie Magpies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Armando Junior ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 10th minute Fermin Dolfo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olaf Gall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Kerville having to interfere. Christian Kerville made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Fermin Dolfo sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Earl Prince in the 17th minute of play forced Yalapa's goalkeeper Basri İhtiyar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Fermin Dolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Fermin Dolfo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christian Kerville came out and tried to block the shot, but Fermin Dolfo slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 26th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Rick Souness came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Elderslie Magpies's goalie prevented a goal. Ovidio Etxekopar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville got control of the ball when Fermin Dolfo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 37 minutes, Earl Prince mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Elderslie Magpies and the Yalapa players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Yalapa booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Earl Prince didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fermin Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Christian Kerville made a huge save. In the 45th minute, Fermin Dolfo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fermin Dolfo got free with Christian Kerville in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 48th minute of the match Yalapa got a corner. Elderslie Magpies's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Diego Armando Junior ran over to the corner to take the kick. Frank Law was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The supporters of Yalapa booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pere Villanueva didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 59 minutes, Olaf Gall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yalapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Olaf Gall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pere Villanueva hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Yalapa's Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı was substituted for Fermin Dolfo. After 66 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Pere Villanueva. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Armando Junior in the 68th minute of play forced Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Christian Kerville was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 72 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian Kerville. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı ran back to his position shaking his head. Christian Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. During the 76th minute of the match Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Yalapa booed when Elderslie Magpies was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Finnlaugur Ásvaldsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı came free, but Christian Kerville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes had been played when some careless play by Elderslie Magpies's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Diego Armando Junior was slow to take the kick. During this time Yalapa's players had a chance to rest. Reto Knobel made a great header on Yalapa's corner, it was just that Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville managed to reach the ball for a save. Christian Kerville didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Atilano Dino went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 88th minute, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Christian Kerville was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-0. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Neal Weatherby hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the match, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı notched a goal, 9-0, to the right of Elderslie Magpies's Christian Kerville. Christian Kerville was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı put it in 10-0 from a short distance just to the right of Christian Kerville. Yalapa's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
