Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Kerim Altunbaş started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes Genk got a freekick which was hit by 邵泉林. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kerim Altunbaş in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenny Vorster prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Selahaddin Esentürk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Suat Kaya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Kerim Altunbaş left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AMLUCHO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. 18 minutes into the match, Genk's goalkeeper Lenny Vorster had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kerim Altunbaş. In the 20th minute Kerim Altunbaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Vorster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Genk's Lenny Vorster proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Genk from getting a goal against them. Aron Trif scored 1-1 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selahaddin Esentürk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lenny Vorster showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kerim Altunbaş, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Kerim Altunbaş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 32nd minute Kerim Altunbaş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenny Vorster saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Trif received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Selahaddin Esentürk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Genk's Lenny Vorster got control of the ball when Kerim Altunbaş tried to sneak it across the goal line. Genk's Lenny Vorster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerim Altunbaş in the 43rd minute of play. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Alfons Rijniers with Alexander Klemensson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 47 minutes into the game, AMLUCHO's Kerim Altunbaş nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenny Vorster made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vergil Rupov made a kick off. Genk's Lenny Vorster played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kerim Altunbaş in the 53rd minute of play. Selahaddin Esentürk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexander Klemensson in the 57th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Vergil Rupov put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Selahaddin Esentürk. Lenny Vorster took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nélson Sousa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Suat Kaya scored 2-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Selahaddin Esentürk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. AMLUCHO's Teofil Paprotny was substituted for Ştefan Șerbulea. Genk's Albert Verdun was substituted for Alfons Rijniers. 77 minutes into the match, AMLUCHO's goal looked a bit too open when Alexander Klemensson came free, but Selahaddin Esentürk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lenny Vorster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mati Magen in the 78th minute of the match. In the 78th minute, Mati Magen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AMLUCHO fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. After 83 minutes, Aron Trif made it 3-4 with a short kick to the right side. AMLUCHO's Selahaddin Esentürk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 89 minutes into the match, Aron Trif had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Selahaddin Esentürk. AMLUCHO's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aron Trif was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-5. Aron Trif recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hieronim Tarasek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenny Vorster read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Genk eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
