In the 14th minute Froilan Reyes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Facundo Altamirano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Facundo Altamirano made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Froilan Reyes sent off a good shot on target. Victorino Txomin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Froilan Reyes got free with Facundo Altamirano in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Facundo Altamirano came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Boomer Fc's Froilan Reyes. But to his dismay, Froilan Reyes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 25 played minutes Maravilla got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Mouzo. After having played for 27 minutes, Bebeto Gaúcho managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boomer Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bebeto Gaúcho was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Facundo Altamirano made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Bebeto Gaúcho sent off a good shot on target. In the 31st minute of the match Boomer Fc got a corner. Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bebeto Gaúcho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Boomer Fc's Gumersindo Moreira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reiner Sørrig in the 34th minute of play. Cruz Credo took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gumersindo Moreira. Gumersindo Moreira dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Facundo Altamirano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Froilan Reyes's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Paulus Van Poucke's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gumersindo Moreira read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Froilan Reyes to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cruz Credo got free with Gumersindo Moreira in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Reyes in the 63rd minute of play forced Maravilla's goalkeeper Facundo Altamirano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Maravilla defense, Froilan Reyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Facundo Altamirano. The Maravilla fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Facundo Altamirano should have stopped the shot. Boomer Fc made a substitution. Marco Boniel replaced Froilan Reyes. In the 73rd minute of the match Boomer Fc got a corner. Maravilla's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Xinto Torres ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Boomer Fc's Yunus Akgün getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Reiner Sørrig kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Maravilla made a substitution. Mohamed Salah replaced Reiner Sørrig. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Reiner Sørrig got a free kick in the 77th minute. Xinto Torres struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Facundo Altamirano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boomer Fc. When Maravilla's Cruz Credo in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Boomer Fc's goalie prevented a goal. Maravilla were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Boomer Fc's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Paulus Van Poucke took the corner. The corner led Maravilla's Paulus Van Poucke to fire away a dangerous shot which Gumersindo Moreira despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marco Boniel scored 3-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Facundo Altamirano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Maravilla's Vasco Gentil got a free kick in the 87th minute. Boomer Fc's attentive Godofredo Vidal managed to snatch the ball when Vasco Gentil made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute Cruz Credo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gumersindo Moreira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 minutes Boomer Fc's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Paulus Van Poucke who took care of the corner kick. Boomer Fc's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
