With an extended leg and a bit of luck Qin Fan Sheng prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 20th minute Peter Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhuang Shi Ting saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 25 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by Eliézer Cavalcante. Pavel Nedvěd kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Qin Fan Sheng was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, ZORZAL01's goalkeeper Qin Fan Sheng had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliézer Cavalcante. Peter Crouch struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Zhuang Shi Ting didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ZORZAL01. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eliézer Cavalcante to make the kick off.
