The crowd rose to their feet as Engin Akbatu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Miguel Marin. That made the score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. Meng Di Jun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ke Qi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Uğur Araz made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Franz Corral immediately put the ball in play. 23 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Miguel Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Engin Akbatu. A sloppy throw-in by Uğur Araz in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FC Dezassete's Frederico Pinheiro. Engin Akbatu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the match, FC Dezassete's goalkeeper Miguel Marin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Engin Akbatu. Ke Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Meng Di Jun in the 33rd minute of play. In the 36th minute Juan Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ke Qi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Dezassete's Juan Zanette got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Ke Qi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Meng Di Jun, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. FC Dezassete's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Hamlet Häfliger in the 47th minute. A nice corner shot did that You got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ke Qi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Engin Akbatu was the one to do the kick off. FC Dezassete's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
