Jonas Mercurio's late challenge caught a Het Koffiehuis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonas Mercurio helped the player get up and apologised. After 12 played minutes Bennis got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Mercurio. 16 minutes into the game, Het Koffiehuis's Constantijn Bauwens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Vase made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Golo Oolo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcus Vase read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute Eskil Kvick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Kun Liang saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Het Koffiehuis's Jiang Kun Liang proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Het Koffiehuis from getting a goal against them. Golo Oolo took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Vase. Marcus Vase dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Karl-Johan Hammarström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jiang Kun Liang tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcus Vase made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Golo Oolo in the 38th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Bennis's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Koffidis came free, but Marcus Vase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Golo Oolo in the 46th minute of play forced Bennis's goalkeeper Marcus Vase to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Bennis's Marcus Vase played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Koffidis in the 53rd minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Bennis's goal looked a bit too open when Golo Oolo came free, but Marcus Vase reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Golo Oolo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Vase prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
