Honorato Ihintza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 21st minute Richárd Bodonyi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Honorato Ihintza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 26th minute, Richárd Bodonyi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Honorato Ihintza was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. 31 minutes into the game, György Weszely cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Honorato Ihintza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Niki Bundev came free, but Viktor Tolnai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Yala players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Valencia CF Mindszent were winning 0-4.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Norberto Erramu in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Viktor Tolnai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Niki Bundev, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Niki Bundev put it in 1-4 from a short distance just to the right of Viktor Tolnai. Although Yala had been in control for most of the match, Valencia CF Mindszent still came away with the win.
