In the 3rdth minute of the game Eike Schmidt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MK Investments's Ruben Rolink was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 8th match minute, MK Investments was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augusto Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. Ruben Rolink made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eike Schmidt in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes in the game, Eike Schmidt dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Christopher Benscheider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascal Bults in the 16th minute of play. Jacco van Dartel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Christopher Benscheider made a huge save. In the 20th minute of the match, Jacco van Dartel got a very nice opportunity to score, but Christopher Benscheider was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Philipp Hackert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Rolando Ottonello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute, Frederik Rohde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute of the match Jacco van Dartel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Christopher Benscheider showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eike Schmidt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Ruben Rolink tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to MK Investments getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gertjan Konterman hit a great ball. Christopher Benscheider made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chiel Donderwinkel in the 45th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacco van Dartel in the 52nd minute of play forced Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goalkeeper Christopher Benscheider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MK Investments were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jacco van Dartel took the corner. The corner led MK Investments's Augusto Soeiro to fire away a dangerous shot which Christopher Benscheider despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After 65 played minutes MK Investments got a freekick which was hit by Gertjan Konterman. 70 minutes into the match, Sc Ajax Hirtenberg's goal looked a bit too open when Jacco van Dartel came free, but Christopher Benscheider reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Vince Seaward hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goalkeeper Ruben Rolink had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eike Schmidt. In the 76th minute, Witomir Majdoch hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Chiel Donderwinkel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Benscheider saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chiel Donderwinkel struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Christopher Benscheider didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MK Investments. The audience was convinced that Rolando Ottonello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ruben Rolink was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
