Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thierry Bianchini got the match started through his kick off. Sporting de Gijón's Desiderio Frederik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oséas Pombal in the 6th minute of play. Desiderio Frederik took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silas Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reinaldo Pombal hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. When Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Oséas Pombal in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sporting de Gijón's goalie prevented a goal. Eusébio Hoffmann was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Arnoldo Ubarna capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Arnoldo Ubarna really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Desiderio Frederik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thierry Bianchini in the 26th minute of the match. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Sporting de Gijón's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Richard Lopez took the corner. The corner ended in Richard Lopez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sporting de Gijón's Desiderio Frederik did a great save. Willian Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 41st minute, Silas Varela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Reinaldo Pombal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 46 minutes into the match, Sporting de Gijón's goal looked a bit too open when Oséas Pombal came free, but Desiderio Frederik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnoldo Ubarna made a kick off. A collision led to Guadalupe FC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Breno Brodel hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Thierry Bianchini got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Desiderio Frederik was a little too slow when Oséas Pombal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-1. Sporting de Gijón made a substitution. Lautaro Blanco replaced Gustavo Quintin. After 61 played minutes Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Breno Brodel. Eusébio Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Panpili, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Amadeo Panpili came free, but Eusébio Hoffmann reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute of the match, Gustavo Carioca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Desiderio Frederik saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Eusébio Hoffmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Panpili in the 74th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Eloy Timo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sporting de Gijón and the Guadalupe FC - CIMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Eloy Timo hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Tiaguinho Palmeira kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. In the 81st minute of the match Arnoldo Ubarna shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusébio Hoffmann showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 83rd minute, Arnoldo Ubarna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting de Gijón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Amadeo Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sporting de Gijón's supporters rose to their feet, but Amadeo Panpili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusébio Hoffmann breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sporting de Gijón had won after a very even match.
