Aquiles Leonidas started the match with the kick off. After some careless play in the Flamengo FSCMZ defense, Oséas Pombal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fábio Silveira. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fábio Silveira should have stopped the shot. After 8 minutes of play, Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Oséas Pombal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Fábio Silveira was left in no man's land by his defense there! 13 minutes into the game, Thierry Bianchini cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Luís Fábio Silveira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oséas Pombal in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio Silveira saved Flamengo FSCMZ from getting behind. After 23 played minutes Guadalupe FC - CIMZ got a freekick which was hit by Willian Bueno. Luís Fábio Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséas Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Fábio Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thierry Bianchini, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. In the 41st minute Oséas Pombal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fábio Silveira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The wind increased when Thierry Bianchini made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Guadalupe FC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Silas Varela hit a great ball. Luís Fábio Silveira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Oséas Pombal's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. In the 56th match minute, Flamengo FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Andrade to maneuver through the defense. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ were furious when Gustavo Carioca was red carded, 60 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 59 minutes into the game, one of Guadalupe FC - CIMZ:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Tomás Nkut's late challenge caught a Flamengo FSCMZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Nkut helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Guadalupe FC - CIMZ getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Tomás Nkut hit a great ball. Eusébio Hoffmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Leonidas, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Luís Fábio Silveira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Nkut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd minute, one of Flamengo FSCMZ:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Flamengo FSCMZ. Luís Fábio Silveira had in the 75thth minute some difficulties stopping Richard Lopez's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The excitement rose when Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's Richard Lopez after 75 played minutes turned away three defenders near the goal, and after that shot a ball that was too difficult for Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper to hold. Score! 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Luiz Teles in the 83rd minute of play forced Guadalupe FC - CIMZ's goalkeeper Eusébio Hoffmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Flamengo FSCMZ's Luís Fábio Silveira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomás Nkut in the 86th minute of play. Pedro Luiz Teles hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Pedro Luiz Teles charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luiz Teles the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 90 played minutes Flamengo FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Teles. 93 minutes into the match, Flamengo FSCMZ's goalkeeper Luís Fábio Silveira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joélson Dante. Luís Fábio Silveira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silas Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 99th minute. The Flamengo FSCMZ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guadalupe FC - CIMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
