Carlos Germano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademar Castro in the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Ademar Castro came free, but Carlos Germano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 10 played minutes La Candela FC got a freekick which was hit by Damaso Eron. Carlos Germano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ademar Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Rojas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ademar Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carlos Germano having to make a save. Júlio Melendez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Enzo Silviano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustin Pacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Damaso Eron fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Candela FC's protests and gave Damaso Eron a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when La Candela FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damaso Eron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rdth minute of the game Ademar Castro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atlético Atlanta's Carlos Germano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Gaston Joanes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Candela FC the free kick. After 34 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Joanes. Carlos Germano came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by La Candela FC's Ademar Castro. But to his dismay, Ademar Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. When La Candela FC's Ademar Castro in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie prevented a goal. Elpidio Shantala tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Carlos Germano. An unnecessary self made goal, 0-2 in the 42nd minute. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Alfredo Rojas hit a great ball. When La Candela FC's Ademar Castro in the 48th minute got a chance for a shot 48th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Rojas to strike the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ademar Castro in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Germano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A nice corner shot did that Cai Bing Cheng got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Carlos Germano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Pacho in the 65th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Enzo Silviano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Alfredo Rojas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Candela FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Atlanta the free kick. A collision led to La Candela FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alfredo Rojas hit a great ball. Jorge Benitez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Germano having to interfere. In the 76th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Ignatius to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Alfredo Rojas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ademar Castro scored 0-4 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Germano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Ademar Castro managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Candela FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ademar Castro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Germano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ademar Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Carlos Germano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
