Lukas Matsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Seco in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Gabriel Klintæus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th minute Svenne Svensk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dário de Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Meninos De Cotia's protests and gave Dário de Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. Otto Eskilsson, 10 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svenne Svensk in the 17th minute of play forced Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Danilo Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute, Håkan Wiklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Batistuta came free, but Lukas Matsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Håkan Wiklund made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kjell Vollander immediately put the ball in play. 34 minutes into the match, Meninos De Cotia's goal looked a bit too open when Svenne Svensk came free, but Danilo Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Michel Batistuta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Michel Batistuta got free with Lukas Matsson in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 41st minute Jeremias Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lukas Matsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lukas Matsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeremias Seco in the 42nd minute of the match. After 44 minutes FC NORDLAND's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mao Yu who took care of the corner kick. Gabriel Klintæus kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Svenne Svensk in the 47th minute of play forced Meninos De Cotia's goalkeeper Danilo Domingues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Batistuta to make the kick off. Meninos De Cotia's Mao Yu managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Håkan Wiklund in the 50 minute of the game. In the 51st minute, Jeremias Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Meninos De Cotia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Otto Eskilsson kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Jeremias Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Lukas Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeremias Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lukas Matsson having to interfere. Meninos De Cotia were furious when Niceto Lando was red carded, 62 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 66 minutes into the match, Jeremias Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lukas Matsson. FC NORDLAND's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Jeremias Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lukas Matsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. Otto Eskilsson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes FC NORDLAND got a freekick which was hit by Otto Eskilsson. After recieving a nice pass, Meninos De Cotia's Mao Yu tried to score from far away in the 78th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Bengt-Rune Västlund got a throw-in 79 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Svenne Svensk. Jeremias Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lukas Matsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt Falkrans hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. When Jeremias Seco came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Meninos De Cotia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeremias Seco couldn't finish the play. Jeremias Seco struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Lukas Matsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Meninos De Cotia. 93 minutes into the game, Bengt Falkrans was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NORDLAND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Meninos De Cotia the free kick. Bengt Falkrans hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. If Jeremias Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 played minutes Meninos De Cotia got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Alvarenga.
