The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Wesley Meira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Cerezo in the 4th minute of the match. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by Maverick Futebol Clube's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Marquinhos Pena was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atlético Paulista's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Clube Atlético Paulista's corner Marquinhos Pena fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Wesley Meira quite easily take care of the ball. Wesley Meira came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Paulista's Luiz Henrique. But to his dismay, Luiz Henrique quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Sílvio Luiz Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 12th minute Severino Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wesley Meira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wesley Meira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Soares's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Clube Atlético Paulista's Osmar Cardozo suffered a sore thigh after 15 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 15 minutes, Paulo Renato Linhares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the Clube Atlético Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severino Soares in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wesley Meira saved Maverick Futebol Clube from getting behind. The supporters of Clube Atlético Paulista booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clube Atlético Paulista's Lucas Martínez suffered a fractured collar bone after 33 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Clube Atlético Paulista booed when Maverick Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandrinho Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 38 minutes, Thomás Tepedino mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maverick Futebol Clube and the Clube Atlético Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 38th minute there was a penalty for Clube Atlético Paulista. Marquinhos Pena stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Wesley Meira. 0-3. Wesley Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Wesley Meira came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Clube Atlético Paulista's Severino Soares. But to his dismay, Severino Soares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Soares was the one to do the kick off. Wesley Meira didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Clube Atlético Paulista's Severino Soares shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-5 in the ordered_time% minute. 61 minutes into the game, Clube Atlético Paulista's Severino Soares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wesley Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 0-7 when Severino Soares sped through Maverick Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wesley Meira. Paulo Renato Linhares hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute of the match Marquinhos Pena shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wesley Meira showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 88 played minutes Clube Atlético Paulista got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Arce. After a defensive mix-up in Maverick Futebol Clube's zone, Severino Soares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wesley Meira came out of the goal and Severino Soares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Clube Atlético Paulista fans' excitement grew in the 97th match minute when Clube Atlético Paulista's Kauan Guerra looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-9 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the final whistle sounded Clube Atlético Paulista left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Maverick Futebol Clube.
