With a little luck, Royal Knights FC's Artur Maciejewski got control of the ball when Caetano Toscano tried to sneak it across the goal line. Waldir Peres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Corrêa in the 8th minute of play. Waldir Peres came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Royal Knights FC's Marcel Corrêa. But to his dismay, Marcel Corrêa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rick Cabezon kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Waldir Peres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diguinho Rocha in the 15th minute of the match. In the 24th play minute Caetano Toscano came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Artur Maciejewski. 1-1. The supporters of Barcellos Mineiro FC booed when Royal Knights FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Afonso Alves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Waka Barcellos struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Artur Maciejewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcellos Mineiro FC. 31 minutes into the match, Eriberto Vidal notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Royal Knights FC's Artur Maciejewski. Artur Maciejewski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 39 minutes, Eriberto Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcellos Mineiro FC and the Royal Knights FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barcellos Mineiro FC's Eriberto Vidal got a free kick in the 39th minute. Caetano Toscano received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Artur Maciejewski came out and tried to block the shot, but Caetano Toscano slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

In the 51st match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caetano Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Waldir Peres showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcel Corrêa, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. A collision led to Royal Knights FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Afonso Alves hit a great ball. Marcel Corrêa was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Artur Maciejewski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano Toscano in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano Toscano in the 73rd minute of play forced Royal Knights FC's goalkeeper Artur Maciejewski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barcellos Mineiro FC's Giuseppe Camargo was substituted for Eriberto Vidal. In the 79th minute, Manuel Antunes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Caetano Toscano came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Barcellos Mineiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Caetano Toscano couldn't finish the play. In the 82nd match minute, Barcellos Mineiro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giuseppe Camargo to maneuver through the defense. Artur Maciejewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Toscano in the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Giuseppe Camargo in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Maciejewski prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
