After a rather tough play, Mystyc FC's Ramiro Mateo got a free kick in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lyle Macias in the 12th minute of play forced Mystyc FC's goalkeeper Alejandro Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Racing Miami Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Ibar came free, but Franco Di Giambattista reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venancio Ibar succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 16th playminute. In the 20th minute Eriberto Padro suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Eddy Mendez fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Miami Futbol Club's protests and gave Eddy Mendez a yellow card for diving instead. Mystyc FC's Teodosio Berriotxoa was substituted for Eriberto Padro. After 21 played minutes Racing Miami Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Eddy Mendez. Racing Miami Futbol Club's Melvin Slater pulled a muscle in his leg after 23 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Racing Miami Futbol Club booed when Mystyc FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Venancio Ibar didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lyle Macias in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Raphael saved Mystyc FC from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lyle Macias in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejandro Raphael prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alejandro Raphael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lyle Macias in the 34th minute of play. Lyle Macias kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Lyle Macias might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alejandro Raphael. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lyle Macias ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the game, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Lyle Macias nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alejandro Raphael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Racing Miami Futbol Club's Jackson Shipley was substituted for Cameron Bliss. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jackson Shipley to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Genaro Cassidy put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Alejandro Raphael. In the 61st minute, Racing Miami Futbol Club's Genaro Cassidy dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-4. In the 74th minute, Jackson Shipley reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alejandro Raphael. The goal made the score 1-5. 78 minutes into the match, Genaro Cassidy dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alejandro Raphael, 1-6. Genaro Cassidy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the match, Genaro Cassidy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alejandro Raphael. Mystyc FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genaro Cassidy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-7. Genaro Cassidy scored 1-8 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alejandro Raphael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Genaro Cassidy struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alejandro Raphael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Miami Futbol Club.
