The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of NECKER49 booed when Encarale a la gordita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfonso Igon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudio Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilfredo Ebardo in the 12th minute of the match. NECKER49's Wilfredo Ebardo got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 14th minute, Haroldo Totakoxe made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Quentin. Encarale a la gordita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Haroldo Totakoxe in the 17th minute of play forced Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Claudio Quentin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nicanor Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Rodolfo Rito's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alonzo Lordi firmly grabbed it by the left post. But to his dismay, Haroldo Totakoxe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. The audience was convinced that Teobaldo Orlanda's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alonzo Lordi was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Teobaldo Orlanda put it in 1-7 from a short distance just to the right of Alonzo Lordi. Eulalio Weather received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Alonzo Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudio Quentin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Haroldo Totakoxe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the game, Wilfredo Ebardo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Quentin. Wilfredo Ebardo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-8. NECKER49's Filiberto Garikoitz was substituted for Haroldo Totakoxe. NECKER49's Remigio Astudillo was substituted for Nicanor Vidal. After 66 played minutes Encarale a la gordita got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Igon. 75 minutes into the match, Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper Claudio Quentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Siro Castulo. In the 76th minute Paulo Ospin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd match minute, NECKER49 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remigio Astudillo to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Franco Muñoz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NECKER49 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-10. In the 88th minute, Remigio Astudillo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Claudio Quentin. The goal made the score 1-11. Claudio Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remigio Astudillo in the 91st minute of play. 93 minutes into the game, NECKER49's Remigio Astudillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Claudio Quentin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-12. NECKER49's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
