Eriberto Pincheira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Claudio Quentin having to make a save. In the 3rd minute Eriberto Pincheira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eulalio Weather hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Eriberto Pincheira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Claudio Quentin. Encarale a la gordita's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Claudio Quentin came out of the goal in the 21st minute to try and stop a shot by Cobresal's Florín Sances. But to his dismay, Florín Sances quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 27th minute, Florín Sances made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Quentin. Encarale a la gordita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. In the 31st minute Eriberto Pincheira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudio Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cobresal booed when Encarale a la gordita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Genaro Gartxot didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, Mercurio Miquel notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Encarale a la gordita's Claudio Quentin. Claudio Quentin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Claudio Quentin came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Cobresal's Florín Sances. But to his dismay, Florín Sances quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. Eulalio Weather hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 43rd minute, Florín Sances made a precise shot to the right of Claudio Quentin. Encarale a la gordita's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rodolfo Rito was the one to do the kick off. Eulalio Weather hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Claudio Quentin was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mercurio Miquel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-7 in the 55 minute of play. Eriberto Pincheira might have been able to make a better finish in the 59th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Claudio Quentin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eriberto Pincheira ran back to his position shaking his head. Claudio Quentin was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Florín Sances capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Florín Sances really showed his touch with that goal: 1-8. In the 65th minute of the match Eriberto Pincheira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudio Quentin skillfully saved the ball. 71 minutes into the game, Florín Sances recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Claudio Quentin. Florín Sances showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-10. Claudio Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xavi Thayer in the 78th minute of play. With an all-out effort, Cobresal's Claudio Quentin threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Celino Alico, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 81st minute, Florín Sances ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Claudio Quentin was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-11. After some careless play in the Encarale a la gordita defense, Xavi Thayer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Claudio Quentin. The Encarale a la gordita fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Claudio Quentin should have stopped the shot. Claudio Quentin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xavi Thayer in the 89th minute. In the 92nd play minute Xavi Thayer came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Claudio Quentin. 1-13. Florín Sances scored 1-14 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Claudio Quentin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Encarale a la gordita fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Cobresal were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
