Eufemio Zubizarreta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rodolfo Amaya in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Gorosti Mora notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of NECKER49's Keylor Navas. Keylor Navas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 26 minutes into the match, NECKER49's goal looked a bit too open when Gorosti Mora came free, but Keylor Navas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07's corner Sancho Zaplana fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Keylor Navas quite easily take care of the ball. Eufemio Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eufemio Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Totakoxe in the 40th minute of play. Gorosti Mora received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Keylor Navas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The NECKER49 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. C.Atl.Torre Monreal 07 were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ponce Delgado to make the kick off. Eufemio Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilfredo Ebardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 50th minute. In the 53rd minute, Ventura Astudillo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keylor Navas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Francisco Rami had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
